Long overdue update!!

Where to start is the question... Ok so since I last wrote we've gotten our stuff and our apartment is set up :) We've gotten 2 visits from family Dutch's grandparents we able to make it up here and even though it was a short visit it was so nice to see them. And then his parents made it for Bella's 1st birthday which was awesome and we got to spend a whole week with them it was nice. We even got to go see Forks, WA! Yes I know (Twilight Geek) but whatever it was fun and a great experience! Since then Dutch went to the field for a month in Oct I turned 25 and we spent Halloween at a friends which was fun except for the cold. Who woulda thought you'd need a jacket on Halloween lol. Thats about all thats happened in a summed up way.

Anthony
Anthony has just shot up I swear he gets taller everyday. We are still having some issues with jealousy but its slowly getting better. He loves to do Art time. Creating things is one of his favorite things to do. McQueen is still one of his favorites and so is Buzz Lightyear. He is so excited about having his own Christmas tree in his room this year.







Bella

Bella is so independent and funny its adorable. Shes walking, running, climbing, geting into anything that she possibly can just to drive her momma nuts. Her favorite thing to say at the moment is annnnnnd stop. She's a trip and a half. She likes to pick on her big brother and is already throwing fits when she doesnt get what she wants. Its crazy how quick she's grown.

As for me I turned 25 last month feeling old lol I also just started my certification for Medical Coding and Billing. Im excited but I know its gonna be hard. Im ready for the challenge. Its gonna take about 4 months to finish but when I do I can work from home. And anywhere Dutch gets stationed I can work. So its a win-win :)

Dutch is doing well and loving his job for the most part. He plans to drop his ROTC active duty packet in a few months and we are hoping for it to go through. He also is getting promoted here soon to PFC :) Im so proud of him. He's doing such an amazing job.



Update 7/19/11

Ok so its officially been forever since Ive written on this thing so I figured I'd give it an update.
First things first we are in Washington :) Yay! Now if only our things would get here.. But that's another issue all together. Things have been busy, crazy, hectic since we got here. We were staying in a hotel for a month. Tiny little box they call a room that had barely enough room to breathe let alone live with 4 people but we made it and are now in are awesome apt!! Yay!! Except that as of Friday our things were still in Clearwater, FL???? Ya you can say I was a little more then upset about that. But hey it'll get here at some point hopefully before he moves duty stations(sarcasm). Both kids have their own rooms which is awesome cause it means mommy and daddy finally have their own room :) Yay go us. Dutch is currently in the field for the week don't get to talk to him much but its the life. I will be very happy when he gets back! Last Saturday I woke up in severe pain and went to the er on base turned out I had the beginning of a kidney infection. Not good and very painful if I do say so myself. I'm trying to get better about drinking more fluids as that's what caused it but sometimes I really just am not thirsty all day so I don't drink anything. But besides that everyone is in pretty good health besides the flu that we've been passing around.



Anthony is just getting smarter and smarter by the day and taller too I think he hit a growth spurt when we got to WA its crazy I can't believe he's gonna be 5 in Feb. Seems like just yesterday that I had him. He's gonna be starting school next year and we are hoping to get him into sports soon too. I know he's gonna love it he's such an outgoing kid. I'm so proud every day to be his mother. I couldn't imagine choosing to not be apart of his life that to me is crazy!!! But I won't go there its not worth my time or effort to put those feelings in writing.



Miss Bella has started walking by her self she's still a little wobbly but getting better. She had grown like a weed and just doesn't seem to be quitting. I can't believe she will be 1 in a month and a half its crazy how quick it went. She's not a baby anymore and its kinda bittersweet but she's turning into such an amazing little girl. Already has an attitude to match mine hehe.






As for Dutch and I we are doing amazing. I'm such a lucky woman to have found an amazing and kind man to love me with all my flaws and faults. Our relationship isn't perfect but nobodies is every couple has arguments but its how you work through them that matters. I have to say being a stay home mom is extremely stressful lol sometimes I think working 45+ hours a week is easier than this but I'm slowly learning patience which the Army drummed out of me while I was in so it takes a bit to get it back. Sometimes I think I might need counseling on how I handle certain situations help never hurts even if what your doing isn't wrong theres always better ways to go about it is kinda how I see it.
Well that's about it for now don't wanna go on forever cause I probably could.

Updates

So its been forever since I wrote so I figured Id take a second to do some upates :)

My hubby is doing amazing in Basic and graduates on April 22nd. I'm so proud of him and proud to be his wife! I cant wait till he is home. Atleast in his AIT he'll have his phone all the time so it'll be better and he also can have the computer so we can skype and he can see the kids cause they miss him a lot.

Anthony grows more each day, he's such a smart and energetic little boy I love him so much. He's hit the stubborn stage and is starting to talk back but we're slowly working on fixing that. He's such a good big brother and loves his baby sister so much. He has informed me that when daddy gets home we will be going to Disney lol. His speech has gotten a lot better. He's talking a lot more now and the words are more pronounced now Im so proud of him.

Bella is doing amazing she's such a smart little girl. She's saying Dada and I swear I've heard Mama once or twice, but she coo's all the time just carries on conversations with herself. Its super cute!! Still waiting for teeth to come in I thought she had cut 2 teeth but I was mistaken so she's still all gums but its super cute! She's still not crawling yet but she scoots backwards on her belly and rolls everywhere so she's getting around quite well. She sits by herself and holding my hands she's taken her first steps :)

As for me I'm just here doing schoolwork still. Taking care of my babies and living life one day at a time. I can't lie Im so looking forward to the break from school and Im excited to find out where we are gonna be stationed. We are offically starting a new chapter in our lives and Im really looking forward to it.

My hubby leaving

So he offically leaves Monday morning but has to stay in the hotel for MEPS on Sunday night :( So our last night together will be Sat night. Its coming so fast. I'm really hoping that his time gone goes just as fast. Our pretty baby girl Bella has started rolling and I'm thinking she will sit on her own soon. She has been teething for about a month but still no teeth. :( Just drool, fussiness and upset baby hehe. Anthony is getting more and more independent everyday. And he loves to help with his baby sister. Everybody keep Dutch in your thoughts as he goes through his training.

Stars! :)

So we've started this new reward system with Anthony to try and get him to listen better. Ive created a chart with all the "chores" he's supposed to do such as brushing teeth, taking a shower, cleaning up his cars and his bedroom, reading a book with mommy or daddy things like that and when he gets it done he gets a star on his chart. Anybody have thoughts on this? So far it seems promising he's very excited about getting stars and I actaully got him into bed without having him throw a fit about it. I'm hoping it sticks cause it'll make things a lot easier while daddy is gone and its just mommy and he thinks mommy is a push over which lets face it I am. If he cries about it I don't make him do it or I let him get his way. So its my lil monster Ive created hehe and I figure he's still young enough that I can still correct this behavior before is becomes something more serious. Any thoughts and comments would be greatly welcomed :)

Back to Reality

So back to reality the honeymoon and wedding were amazing but it is now time to settle back down into the routine. My poor princess has a horrible diaper rash which is rather irritating as she's never had one before and I'm gone for 2 days and I come back and her butt is almost to the point of bleeding. I have to say Im extremely dissapointed in that hold situation.


Im about a week behind in school so I really need to buckle down and get to it or else I'll not be able to catch up and not do very well this semester. Hopefully all goes well and I can get everything done.


Dutch leaves Feb. 7th for basic and I have to say I'm a little sader than I thought Id be. I  mean I knew Id miss him but I was in the Army and know the Army life but I still can't help but want to start crying when I think about him not being here. It'll be ok though 4 months and we'll be back together. Good thing is he gets to bring his cellphone and we're getting the Sprint Evo's so we can video chat and he can see the kids and we can see him it'll be nice.


Anthony's birthday is coming up quick we were planning on doing his party before Dutch left but it  might have to be pushed back till his actual birthday and we'll just take Anthony ourselves somewhere to celebrate with Daddy before he leaves.


Thats about all thats new so I guess instead of blogging I should be doin school work hehe. SHhhh if you dont tell I wont either :)

T- 30 Mins :)

So in 30 minutes its gonna be offically my wedding day :) Yay! Super excited and nervous all at the same time. Its a little overwhelming lol. My mom flew in today and I'm so glad that her flight wasn't canceled because of the snow. We had our rehersal tonight and all I can say is I hope I don't fall on my face that'd be super embarressing to say the least. Still gotta pack the kids overnight bags since we're going to Orlando first thing Monday morning. Excited about that too. Dutch has been working so much I barely see him the break and time together will be nice. Ok well gotta get to it lol Wish me luck!

3 Days!

 



  So there's offically 3 days till the wedding and mostly everything is done. The flowers are done the cake is being picked up sunday morning. We pick up my dress tomorrow. Things seem to be pretty much in order. Today is also Dutch's bday so we're goin to dinner with his parents tomorrow. I started school again on monday thought the classes were gonna be easy. Haha they aren't but Im sure I'll live. Because of the snow in GA my mom might not be able to make it :( It really sucks but if that happens I've decided to have Anthony walk me down the aisle. He's gonna look so handsome in his outfit he's such a cute kid I know Im gonna have issues with the girls in a few years lol. Well I gotta go make a suprise for my love so I'll write more later.

T Minus 10 Days!!!!

So the wedding is in 10 days!!! Ahh its coming so quick! And still so much to do I went last night with Jill and we picked the most awesome ribbon ever for me to make the bouquets out of and I'm getting started on those today. My awesome MIL to be found the most amazing tie for the guys at JC Penny. I am in love with it. Everything is slowly falling into place :) My mom will be flying in next sat and I will be picking her up from TIA. Super excited! I wish my best friend Lucia could make it to the wedding but finances and time just cant allow it. But she has to be at the renewal of vows :) No choice in the matter lol  If anyone knows where to buy this elusive colored sand Id be most grateful I never thought itd be so hard to find. Strike that gonna be creative and make my own lol. Well both kids are up so this is all for now.

Trying Something New

So with a lot happening this year I figured Id give this a try. First off we just moved into our new apartment and Im in love its such a nice area and beautiful community its really amazing. Another big change thats happening is that Dutch and I are getting married in 15 days!! Its coming very fast and theres still a lot to do Im hoping everything works out well. Its just a small ceremony mostly for family. We plan to have a big wedding in about 3 or 4 years once we've gotten through are first duty station and are settled. Thats about it for now super tired and not that creative lol.
